Loss of a Parent

What You'll Get From the Loss of a Parent Community

As a member, you'll get a few great benefits from being here:

  • Access exclusive content. We've designed the Loss of a Parent Community to inspire, instruct, and engage.

  • Meet new people. Your fellow members are as motivated as you are to master what we're exploring here in the Loss of a Parent Community.

  • Get results. As you dive into the course content and meet the community, you're on a path of healing. While it's not necessarily easy, the transformation we'll get together matters.

How to Get the Most Out of the Loss of a Parent Community

We’re all here to heal. Here’s the best way for each of us to get there:

Be supportive. Encourage and support your fellow members. No one here is looking for your criticism, cynicism, advice, or judgement. (We can get those things on the rest of the Internet).

Share generously. Your stories and experiences may be exactly what another member needs to hear today to solve a problem or seize an opportunity.

Be constructive. We’re here to push each other forward and lift each other up. Find ways to help each other think bigger, reframe challenges, and stay curious.

Don’t spam, promote, or troll.  The Loss of a Parent  Community exists to help you learn. It’s not a place to spam, promote, or bully anyone else.

You're a Part of Something Bigger

By joining the Loss of a Parent Community, you’re also a member of Wellness Waypoint, our overarching community. You’ll be able to keep up with our Loss of a Parent Community activity here, but also in your main Wellness Waypoint Activity Feed (think about it as our own Facebook newsfeed with Course and other activity all in one place).

Let’s get started.

Losing a parent is one of the most profound and life-altering experiences a person can face. Whether your parent was a source of love and guidance, a complicated figure in your life, or someone whose absence left unresolved emotions, the grief that follows can be overwhelming. This course is designed to help you navigate the unique challenges of grieving a parent—whether biological, adoptive, step, or chosen. Through guided lessons, supportive discussions, and practical tools, you’ll explore ways to process your loss, honor your parent’s legacy, and move forward with resilience and hope. Grief is a deeply personal journey, but you don’t have to walk it alone.

As you work through the lessons, you can also connect to the Holding Space Community to post comments, participate in chats, or message other members who are working through the same things.  There is healing in community.

You belong here. ♡
